• anticorrosive protection of steel parts in combination with quality preservation
• for cold forming of steel material (to reduce friction)
• prior to painting to improve the adhesion of the coating materials to the metal surface

Phosphate layers with a weight ranging from 1-30 g/m2 are used for protection against corrosion.
